Part Time Registered Dental Hygienist

Our practice is busy….and growing! We are looking for a positive, upbeat person to join our team. Being self-motivated and able to multitask is also a must. Pay is excellent!

A little about our practice-

Out team is currently made up of Dr., two hygienists, two EFDA certified dental assistant, one dental assistants, one office manager and one patient coordinator. Everyone’s biographies and photos are on this website under “Our Staff”. Everyone in the office works really well together. We are always willing to lend a hand where needed. This is truly a tight knit office!

Dr. Nicholson has built a very successful practice in Klamath Falls beginning in 2001. She currently has an eight operatory practice. Dr. Nicholson uses 5 of these rooms and our two hygienists and one EFDA certified dental assistant use the remaining 3 rooms. (There are a couple of pictures of our office on this website under “Our Office”.) We see between 18 and 23 patients a day on Dr.’s side and currently between 16 and 22 patients a day on hygiene. So, as you can see we work at a pretty fast pace.

We are fully digital and chartless and use laser therapy during periodontal treatment

Dr. Nicholson does many procedures in our office. They include; crowns, bridges, veneers, lumineers, amals, composites, extractions, root canals, complete and partial dentures, inlays, and onlays. We generally refer out for impacted 3rd molar extractions, crown lengthening, and ortho. We make our own bleach trays, fluoride trays and sports guards, as well as ortho retainers.

It is our goal to treat every patient with the utmost care and respect. We pride ourselves on making each dental experience special for each patient we see.

Job Duties- Include but are not limited to….

SRP 1-3 teeth or Quad Scales
Adult and child pro/fl
Perio Maintenance
Laser treatment (we will train if needed)
Perio probing
Taking digital xrays (we will train if you have only ever taken standard films)
X-rays annually on adults
Xrays every 6 months for children
Digital Pano
Completing exams with Dr.
Entering treatment plans
Charting treatment in the computer and in the charts
Seating patients
Walking patients up to be checked out
Turning over rooms
Patient education

Attending continuing education classes throughout the year
treating every patient with special care
